I don’t waste money

Many filmmakers have said that films don’t fail, it’s their budget that makes them fail. In such a situation, it is most important for producers to take care of the budget. While shooting many films, some extra shots are taken, changes are made in the script during the shooting itself so that nothing is lost during editing. However, actor and producer-director Rakesh Roshan doesn’t do this. He shoots his films within the fixed budget and once he has written the script, he doesn’t make any changes in it on the set. According to Rakesh, once I finalize the script, I don’t tamper with it. I make a script of two and a half or three hours. Then neither do I edit and remove any scene, nor do I add anything to the film later. I make the film as per the script I have finalized. If the length is to be made, then my editing is done at the time of the script itself. I don’t waste my money. Whatever money I spend, it is spent on the film. It is noteworthy that the docu-series The Roshans based on the Roshan family will be available for streaming on Netflix from January 17 next year.
