In terms of the trend of sequels and franchise films, actresses are lagging behind actors in Hindi cinema. Only a few actresses’ films are being promoted as franchises with their faces. Actress Taapsee Pannu is also one of them. This year, the sequel of her film Haseen Dilruba, Phir Ii Haseen Dilruba, was released. According to Taapsee, the third film of this franchise will also be made. Apart from this, Taapsee sees the possibility of a sequel to the film Badla, directed by Sujay Ghosh. She said in a recent interview, ‘I have some films, whose second part can be made. Many people expect Part 2 of the film Badla. The way it ended, people think Part 2 is possible. Sujay and I also talk a lot, let’s see when an idea comes to his mind.’
