In the form of the Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira, director Sudha Kongara is bringing a film that is inspired by a real person. Sudha has previously made a Tamil film Soorarai Pottu inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. Now she has again made the same story in Hindi with Akshay Kumar. Regarding making the same story in Hindi after Tamil, Sudha says, ‘The Hindi dubbed version of this film is very bad. I would suggest people not to watch it. Akshay was my first choice for Sarfira. It is challenging for any action hero to play such a character. However, Akshay has done a great job. All the airplane scenes shown in the film have been shot on real planes and runways.’
