Mother Amrita Mann, who works in Delhi Police, took care of both the daughters and gave a direction to their lives. Now Tulika is ready to make her mark in Paris. Tulika says, while going to work, mother used to drop me at the coaching center and bring me back. Mother took a loan for me and also withdrew money from the fund. Tulika, associated with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Bhopal, will participate in the 78 kg weight category in Judo. Her coach Yashpal Solanki says that Tulika has been training since 2019. Tulika says that when I was young and my mother had to go to work, she used to lock the door of the house from outside and leave. I used to get bored. Then a friend advised me to join Judo. When I asked my mother, she said yes. Then I started learning Judo. My mam Sangeeta Gupta inspired me a lot. After this I decided that I have to make a career in it. My aim is not only to participate in the Olympics but also to win a medal for the country.
